22 April Update

Good news! We have movement in the air ways. We expect to see familiar faces in the next 36-48 hours!
There is a group coming first and a small group coming in the days following. I don't know who is in the first, but it is generally lower enlisted....so you can figure out who that might be. More to follow!

21 April Update

The Saga continues! Our folks continue to bear the burden of being done with their mission but stuck in a state of limbo due to the volcanic eruption in  Iceland. Its very frustrating for our folks who desperately want to come home. They are trying each day to catch flights back home. It will be day to day as new challenges arise. I found an interesting link that shows airport delays in Europe. Its Europe that is the key air corridor to get passengers to and from theater. As information comes in I will update here. April 20 Update

Hey folks...wish I had good news, but I don't. Our folks are stuck and the reality is I don't know for sure when they are coming and neither do they. The next flight window is Monday, but some folks may be coming in earlier than that. I have no idea who that might be, but as folks get on the ground you'll be the first to know. Volcanoes are bad!

April 19 Update

Greetings everyone, thanks for the patience. Things have moved to the right a bit, but are getting clearer all the time. We now expect that our folks will be here by Wednesday morning. As more information arrives I will put it out. But that is the latest and greatest.

Update 17 April

Well...we can't tell volcanoes what to do. Be patient as delays may occur due to the events in Iceland. Everything is still on schedule as of now, but be prepared for news as it arrives. The light is at the end of the tunnel and we are almost done. More to follow!

It won't be long till our folks are home. You are more than welcome to come to NJ to visit during out processing which will take between 4 and 5 days. Its going to be difficult to nail down exact times due to OPSEC considerations but I'll post as much info here as I can. Leave a message here in the comment section to contact me.
